Andreas Ryffstube
This charming chamber is dedicated to Andreas Ryff, an alderman of the Saffron Guild. During the Rappenkrieg, a war fought between the city of Basle and the countryside, he went down in history as a clever mediator. Ancient paintings, stained glass, and green and saffron colouring provide the chamber with a authentic atmosphere.
The chamber seats up to 40 people; if connected to adjacent Vorgesetztenstube it seats about 60 people.
